Extremely easy to maintain. Unlike virtually ALL other domes this dome has 15+ year lifespan. It has large panels very easy to clean.
After several years you could consider doing a clear wax varnish / uv coating to the outside which may extend lifespan to 20 years up to.
The dome can handle itself -40 c extreme colds of the coldest places in the world. (you can even with baseball bat hit it at these temperatures and it will not break like how glass would shatter instantly).
And the dome can handle blistering heat 55 c 130 degree. without having issue like bad smell like other cheap domes have issue with greatly at vastly lower temperatures.
Options to cool and heat in winter to have ideal enjoyable environment even in extreme conditions:
For HEATING: A single Heater can heat the area very effectively and dressing with warm clothes if very cold out.
In extreme cold If needed a temporary layer of bubblefoil insulation could be put around to help lessen the escape of heat. ALSO we have THICKER model available for clients in very cold areas who plan to use in winter. A more powerful or second heater could simply be used also.
For COOLING: An extra door can be provided with screen for great ventilation as well as on top of the included window with window fan, a second or even third window with fan can be included providing significant cross draft. AND a ceiling rooftop fan with more power can be provided. Ensuring a cool environment.
An Air conditioning unit can be recommended for hot environment where the fans are not enough on their own.
The curtains help block out the sun. Additionally our 6.2 meter size has 50% tint to block out half the sun to further cool the unit.
In extreme cases of direct sunlight the solution is simple, an external sun sail or umbrella could be put up during summer days to block most of the direct sunlight entirely from the unit.
